Cinnamon Sugar Bread Pudding

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Cinnamon bread, cut into cubes
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup Raw sugar
  • 1/2 tbsp Ground cinnamon
  • FOR TOPPING
  • 1/4 stick Butter
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

  1. Mix the eggs, milk, cinnamon, vanilla, and both sugars together, and toss in the cubes of bread. Let it soak for a few minutes to allow the batter to get into the bread cubes.
  2. Place the mixture in a greased ceramic or glass baking dish and bake at 350°F for 35 minutes. You should be able to toothpick the center of the bread and the toothpick come out clean.
  3. For the topping melt the butter and sugar together in a small pot on the stove over medium heat. Bring the mixture to a soft simmer and cook for 2 minutes. Allow to cool and garnish the pudding just before serving.
