- In a large skillet or saucepan, cook beef until browned; drain fat. Stir in soup, bacon, garlic pepper, and salt to taste. Stir in 1/2 cup water, if desired.
- Cook and stir over low heat until heated through.
- To make sandwiches, spoon about 1/3 cup of the meat mixture on the bottom half of each bun. Add 1 tablespoon of the cheese, top with bun top, and serve.
