Hot Crab and Swiss Dip

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup chopped red bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 tbsp. butter, melted
  • 1/2 pkg. imitation crabmeat, chopped*
  • 1/3 cup condensed cream of celery soup, undiluted
  • 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
  • Pita bread, toasted, cut into triangles
  • Chopped fresh parsley (optional)

  1. Heat butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add bell pepper and green onions; cook, stirring constantly, until tender.
  2. Stir in crabmeat, soup, cheese and red pepper flakes. Reduce heat to low; cook 5 to 10 minutes or until heated through.
  3. Top with fresh parsley, if desired. Serve warm with toasted pita triangles.
