Oatis's Quinoa Mini Pizzas


  • 1 cup Quinoa, dry
  • 1 tablespoon Our Family Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Our Family garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup Our Family Pizza Sauce; plus more for serving (non-dairy sauce for dairy-free option)
  • 1/2 cup Our Family shredded pizza cheese (non-dairy cheese substitute for dairy-free option)
  • 1/4 cup Our Family Colby Jack shredded cheese (non-dairy cheese substitute for dairy-free option)
  • Chopped veggies of choice such as onion, bell pepper, olives, and spinach, optional
  • Meat of choice such as ground lean beef or mini pepperonis, optional


  1. Cook quinoa according to package instructions. While quinoa is cooking, preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Once quinoa is cooked, move quinoa to a mixing bowl and invite kids to help add Italian seasoning, garlic powder, pizza sauce, and pizza cheese. Stir until well combined.
  3. Lightly spray a mini muffin tin pan with cooking spray. Invite kids to help press mixture into each muffin tin. Bake for 10 minutes or until turning golden.
  4. Remove from oven and invite kids to sprinkle Colby Jack cheese over the quinoa pizzas as well as the additional toppings such as veggies and/or meat if desired. Return to oven for 30 seconds or until cheese is melted. Cool slightly and serve with additional pizza sauce. Refrigerate any uneaten portion and discard after 4 days.
