Place in a preheated oven and roast for 10 to 12 minutes per pound, covered in tinfoil.
Combine all remaining ingredients (leave out whole pineapple rings) to a saucepan, once brought to a boil (or looks syrupy) set aside to cool until ready to apply to ham.
During the last 30 minutes of cooking time with the ham, remove ham from the oven and apply half the glaze with a brush. Put back to bake for 10 – 15 mins.
Next, pull out ham and place the pineapple rings around the ham. Can use a toothpick to hold it in place. Repeat until you have used up enough pineapple to cover the surface or the ham.
Brush with additional pineapple honey glaze and bake for an additional 10 - 15 minutes (basting ham every 5 minutes.) depending on the size of your ham or until the thermometer reads 145°F when inserted into thickest portion of ham.
Remove from the oven and let rest for 15 minutes before serving.
