- For glaze, in a small saucepan heat preserves, butter, cinnamon, nutmeg and 1 tablespoon water until butter melts. Set aside.
- Preheat grill to medium (300°F to 350°F). Thread fruit and cake alternately onto 12-inch skewers.* Brush with glaze.
- Place skewers on grill 5 inches from heat. Grill 7 minutes, turning once. Brush with glaze. Remove from grill and serve with remaining glaze.
