- Place bread on a work surface or cutting board. In a small bowl, combine apple butter and light mayonnaise. Spread evenly on bread slices.
- Top each of 4 bread slices with 2 ounces smoked turkey, 1 cheese slice, apple slices and 1 lettuce leaf. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and top with 1 bread slice. Cut each sandwich in half, and serve.
