- Preheat oven to 325°F. Cut steak crosswise into -inch slices. In a shallow dish stir together flour and steak seasoning. Dip both sides of steak slices in seasoned flour, shaking off excess.
- In a large skillet heat oil over medium-high heat. Working in batches, add steak slices; cook 3 to 4 minutes or until browned, turning once. Transfer to a rectangular 3-quart baking dish; set aside.
- In a medium bowl combine tomato, mushrooms, ketchup, bell pepper, onion, cup water, and salt and pepper to taste. Pour over steak in baking dish. Cover tightly with foil. Bake 1 hour or until steak is tender. Remove from oven; let stand 10 minutes. Serve over cooked rice.
