Ingredients

  • 2 tsp. ground ginger
  • 1 tsp. dried minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
  • 3 tbsp. less-sodium soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp. white vinegar
  • 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 lbs. boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips 2 inches wide
  • Hot cooked rice (optional)

  1. In a small bowl combine ginger, garlic and red pepper flakes. Stir in soy sauce and vinegar; set aside.
  2. Place a wok or large skillet over very high heat 20 seconds. Drizzle oil around the sides; heat until oil is almost smoking.
  3. Add chicken to wok; stir-fry 2 to 3 minutes. Add soy sauce mixture; cook and stir 1 to 2 minutes. Remove wok from heat. If desired, spoon chicken on rice. Serve hot.
