T-Bone Steaks with Garlic-Thyme Butter

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp. butter, softened
  • 1 tbsp. finely chopped fresh rosemary, thyme or basil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • Hot sauce
  • 2 T-bone steaks, 1-inch thick

  1. For the garlic?thyme butter, in a small bowl stir together butter, rosemary, garlic, Worcestershire, and hot sauce to taste. Shape into a 2-inch-long roll. Wrap in plastic wrap. Refrigerate until needed.
  2. Coat grill rack with nonstick cooking spray. Preheat grill to medium (300°F to 350°F). Season steaks with salt and freshly ground pepper to taste. Place steaks on grill. Grill 5 to 6 minutes per side (145°F for medium-rare) or to desired doneness. Remove from grill.
  3. Cut steak into serving-size pieces. Top each piece with a slice of the chilled garlic-thyme butter, and serve.
