- Cut off and discard the tops of tomatoes; remove seeds and pulp. Place tomatoes upside down on paper towels to drain.
- Cook pasta al dente according to package directions. Drain; place in a large bowl and add oil and lemon juice; toss to coat. Set aside to cool.
- Add basil, mayonnaise, sour cream, chives and chopped parsley to cooled pasta; toss to coat. Spoon into tomato shells, sprinkle with additional parsley (if desired), and serve.
