Supermarket Tours at VG's Grocery

kids crew supermarket tours
Have you ever wondered how the supermarket operates from day to day? Do you want your children to learn about healthy foods? Do you have a group that is interested in learning more about the supermarket and nutrition? Join us for our complimentary Supermarket Tours!
Select locations now offer Kids Crew Supermarket Tours for school classrooms and after school groups. This interactive learning experience engages students and teaches them to make informed healthy food choices following the MyPlate guidelines. Tour topics include: fruits and veggies, whole grains, protein foods, and dairy as well as breakfast, snacks, and the importance of drinking water. Students will also get a special behind-the-scenes look of the supermarket in action!
If you have an older group, including teens and/or adults, the tours can be adapted to suit any age group.
The tour duration is between 45 and 60 minutes, depending on group size. We ask for a minimum of 8 and maximum of 30 participants per tour. While tours are complimentary, you are responsible for transportation for your group to and from the store location.
Once at the store for the tour, a trained associate will lead the tour around the main areas of the supermarket including the back room! Supermarket Tours include a take home packet with coupons for future shopping trips!
Tours are available at select locations and based on specific store availability.
If your group is outside of the kindergarten to 6th grade age range, just make a note of that when registering at the link above and we will be happy to accommodate! If you need assistance please reach out to Field Trip Factory or email us at [email protected]
